Jeremey Lawson is committed to Iowa, the place where he was born and grew up. He was raised there, attended college in a nearby town and has even started a business in the area. Jeremey plans to nourish those roots and find ways to enrich his impact on the community.

Jeremey was raised in Bloomfield, Iowa, a smaller town that is rich in history. He attended college at Indian Hills Community College in nearby Ottumwa, Iowa. The campus itself could not be in a more picturesque setting in between a plentiful forest with a view of the Des Moines River. This is what Jeremey was accustomed to growing up in Iowa, everywhere he would go, he would be met with beautiful views, towns with full historical pasts, and people that would treat him like family. After attending college, Jeremey settled down back in Bloomfield and opened his own business, Homestead Builders in 1996.

Homestead Builders is a contracting company that specializes in barns, cabins, and turnkey homes. Jeremey himself has over 20 years of experience working construction in over 300 counties spanning several states, so he knows just how important all the nuances of the process are. It takes a great deal of skill and patience to take a project from an idea to reality. But that is what Jeremey loves the most about the whole process, standing back and looking at a building knowing that he had a hand in creating something that someone else is going to enjoy for a very long time.
